I am a Mexican Girl with many
ambitions and dreams, and I realize
that I need to improve many skills.
Word Masters has become an essential
part of the development I need to
achieve my goals. For the past
twenty years, I have been an IT
consultant in the Airline industry,
and I am more than ready to jump
into something more challenging such
as Management. |

I am from England and have
been in Minnesota for the past eight
years. I learned of Word Masters through Coldwell Banker Burnet. My wife, Adriana, are realtors at the same office where the club meets. My first name is Christopher, but I have always been called by my middle name David, which often causes a lot of confusion. I am looking forward on my journey with Word Masters. |

I wanted to join Toastmasters to improve my communication and leadership
skills. I decided to visit Word Masters, and immediately knew this was the
club for me. I have received my CC and CL, and I am looking forward to the
next projects. Toastmasters, specifically Word Masters have greatly
increased my confidence and improved my career and social life. As the
saying goes "Say it with confidence".
I enjoy hunting and reading to relax and recharge. I am also involved in Saint Paul Jaycees community service organization. Anyone who knows me can tell you the difference between cement and concrete, as I work for Lafarge Cement. |

Family
and friends are very important to
me. My wife Kim, my daughter Peri,
our dogs Doc (Dr. Jones) and Indy
(Indiana) live in Farmington,
Minnesota. Peri likes to eat mashed
sweet potatoes and laugh. Kim is an
elementary school teacher in
Bloomington and a former world class
competing trampolinist! My career is in sales. I am the Director of Business Development at Capitol Direct, a local direct mail house, and I hold my residential real estate license with Coldwell Banker Burnet. When not working, I enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. One of my favorite quotes is by Brian Tracy, a national speaker, "Circumstances do not make the man, they simply reveal him to himself." I strive to live by that philosophy. I have been a member of Toastmasters since 2006. Word Masters is a great group! I feel very fortunate to be able to surround myself with such a positive and totally unique group of people for two Saturdays every month! |
